In just a few short weeks, we’ve ignited a vibrant energy in the Old Algiers neighborhood, rekindling the spirit of one of the city’s most renowned jazz venues from the 1930s. As New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz, continues to evolve, AMAS is dedicated to preserving and celebrating this rich tradition.

Over the past two years, we’ve made remarkable strides in refurbishing our historic building, reviving the legendary jazz club, and establishing a lively social club for our community. However, to fully realize our vision and secure AMAS’s place among the best entertainment venues in New Orleans, we still have some key goals to achieve:
