Alejandro Brittes interprets chamamé, a music and dance genre forged of Baroque and Indigenous Guaraní influences in the Jesuit Missions of southern South America. Chamamé has been declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Ensemble is Alejandro Brittes (accordion), André Ely (seven-stringed guitar), and Carlos de Césaro (contrabass).
