ABOUT US
AMAS is the Epicenter of Music and Art on the West Bank of New Orleans
We operate a live music venue and a private Social Club right here in the heart of Algiers. We also provide music, arts and private education courses to young people through our AMAS Foundation. We are a community hub that serves the adults, teens and kids living in Algiers and the surrounding area.

AMAS regularly holds events such as jazz concerts, book signings, poetry readings, lectures and art gallery exhibits.

The AMAS Performance Space is also available to be rented for private functions like meetings and parties. It seats up to 75 people. Rate is $175/hr with a 2 hour minimum + an $80 cleaning fee. Can accommodate more people for an additional charge.

AMAS Foundation
Algiers Music and Artist Studio Foundation is a Louisiana 501c3 corporation. Our mission is to play a leading role in the local community by providing music performances; and music, art and educational programs to kids, teens and young adults.
Our curriculum uses innovative techniques taught by credentialed teachers that are fun and build self-esteem. Our goal is to foster” I can do it” attitudes in our young adults, and to help them build the self-confidence they need to succeed in today’s world.
